Twitter is by far the fastest growing social media site for businesses looking to engage with potential customers. Not having a twitter presence is almost not an option for any business today.

Why is Twitter important for your business?

More time is spent on twitter compared to any of the other social media platforms. The expectation nowadays is that people expect to be engaged with at all times and want up to the minute content. For a user, twitter is perfect way to spend ‘dead’ time, such as the commute to and from work, sat in front of the telly or just wanting to take a 5 minute break from it all. Many consumers will access their twitter feed between 5-10 times a day, with more regular users checking more than 20 times a day.

All of these are opportunities for potential customers to see your business, which in turn is creating awareness of your brand, product or service.

What can Social Lead do for you?

We have lots of experience in building twitter followers and creating and implementing campaigns. Twitter is a sophisticated social media platform in that you only have 140 characters to get your message across, which is more than the characters in this sentence (do check it). Therefore, specific skills are needed to make sure you get the right message across, and more importantly your message stands out amongst the stream of tweets your customers are looking at.

We can help you in three key ways.

1. REGULAR TWITTER ENGAGEMENT

We will work with you to craft a series of regular tweets with the aim of either building a story or pushing a particular message, product or service. Our methodology allows us to identify, over time, when your twitter followers are most likely to be looking at their twitter feed meaning we can time your tweets for a time when they are likely to get most impressions (when someone sees the tweet in their feed) and engagement (when someone clicks the tweet or a link embedded in it).

2. TWITTER HIGH-IMPACT CAMPAIGN

Some clients like to a have a targeted month long campaign. Within this month they will push hard their message, product or service. A high-impact campaign essentially means you are sending out more targeted tweets each day with the aim of boosting the impressions it gets. This can be a great way to create awareness or even to direct people to click on your website. It can be far more effective, especially from a cost perspective, then using Google ads, where the costs can quickly rack up. You could easily end up spending on Google, in a couple of days, what you would spend on our month long campaign, which would probably put you in front of many more potential buyers.

TWITTER FOLLOWERS GROWTH

Real engagement on twitter only happens if you have followers wanting to engage. Therefore, to some extent, twitter is a numbers game.

Growing your followers is a time consuming and long process. Twitter comes down hard on accounts that aggressively follow and unfollow. Therefore, time and patience is the only way to grow your follower base.

When it comes to twitter followers, not every follower is equal. The reality is that if you want an engaged audience, you need followers that are likely to show an interest in your service or product. For example, if you have a hairdressers in Norwich, having hundreds of followers based in Peru isn’t going to give you much value.

Therefore, ahead of any campaign to grow your twitter followers we will identify which other twitter accounts have the type of followers that will appeal to you. For example, if you are a high-street fashion retailer, you know that those that follow Matalan, or H&M are likely to also be interested in you. Therefore, we will then target those followers and try and encourage them to follow you too. Whilst this approach may take longer then just adding followers for the sake of it, over time it will give you a better focused, targeted and engaged audience.

What does our help cost?

From the very outset we have been keen to have a very transparent pricing policy, which means that we only get paid for the actions we can actively demonstrate we have undertaken. We don’t try and hide under an opaque ‘per monthly’ fee, as some other agencies do.

Set up

Assuming you already have a Twitter account, we will work with your existing account. At the outset of the engagement there will be a small set up fee. This covers the cost of spending time getting to know your business, what your Twitter objectives are and what you would like us to do. As part of this we will follow up with an objectives document, which clearly states what both parties are looking to achieve.

The cost of this is a flat £297.

Regular Twitter engagement

The costs for this are based on the number of tweets we create and send out on your behalf. The costs are as follows:

£3.00 each for the first 100 tweets in a month
Twitter high-impact campaign

We will work with you to create a month long high-impact campaign. The cost of this is £347 and will be based on us creating and issuing 6 tweets per day (out of a series of between 20-30 tweets) for a month. This is equivalent to only £1.87 per tweet!

Twitter follower growth

Using our bespoke methodology we will target followers for you. Each new follower we get will only cost you £1!

Note that these costs apply to each Twitter account we work with you on.
